I miss her. She was tiny, but gave great hugs!! And love radiated out from her.
She’s been up in heaven for 12 years now. I know she greeted Jeffery with a big ole hug, when he got there!! (And maybe even a pot of dumplings, and some nanner pudding??)

I hear ya! Someone in the back said it’s more important than food, it’s liquid life!
Today is exactly 2 years since my BIL, Jeffery went home to the Lord.
So many changes. So much suffering, and grieving for him. He can’t ever be replaced.
Yes, life has gone on, but hearts are still broken, lives still shattered. Pieces still being picked up.
He hasn’t shed any tears. We’ve shed oceans full.
He is still dancing, and rejoicing in the presence of Jesus. We are still going on with life, missing him, looking forward to the day we get to go up to heaven to join him.
We watch, and wait for the day of the Return of Jesus, in the clouds!!

I talked about loving everyone while they’re here, cuz ya never know when they will be gone. At that time, I had no idea that my BIL, Jeffery, would die so suddenly on Oct 3, 2015, only a year later. And that DH would become XH 2 years later.
Please hug and kiss all your loved ones, immediately!! Tell them you love them!! Life is not guaranteed! All we have for sure, is today.

Long, long ago, someone (or maybe more than one) told me I need to give PPJr her own name. And I know I should…. just: life, ya know?
So, now I finally decided it’s time. The poor baby has been Jr long enough!!
PopPop already calls her Chunk. If you saw her, you’d know why. I think I may have already stated why. Why yes, yes I have! Anyway, it fits! And, since alliteration is my thang, I thought, well, I already have half her name there, get busy and alliterate!
And in keeping with the food theme, (Pudding Pop) the other part of chunk has to be food. And what food springs to mind first, that starts with ch?? Chocolate of course! But Chunk Chocolate is kinda awkward. Not to mention way longer. So, I tried out Chocolate Chunk. (Isn’t that a candy bar??) But still, as previously mentioned, too long.

So I was off by one letter….

My 3rd!!
I can’t believe it!! It’s been 3 years!! My 3rd blogiversary was 8-19, last Saturday! It’s almost unbelievable to me, that y’all love to read, and comment on my posts, and I have almost 1,000 followers!! In case I don’t say it enough, y’all purple peeps are my very favoritist peeps in the whole, wide world!! Thank you!!

I started out, in such a sad shape. Hardly able to get up off my duff, and sweep a little bit. Now here I am, 3 short years later, selling cleaning products, and keeping our house clean! Okay, clean-ish! You can actually walk in on any given day, and see the floor, the kitchen table, (at least part of it), and use the restroom, without me having any panic attacks, and you running out screaming about the ecoli cloud enveloping you!
AND! Let’s not forget, picking up a 28 pound baby, on a regular basis! I’m Purple Slob, hear me roar! (Thanks to Helen Reddy.)
I hope we have many more happy years together!!

Since I now have the Norwex ,
(2 eggplant kitchen cloths, 1 eggplant kitchen towel, 1 pink Enviro, and 1 graphite Enviro), oh! I almost forgot the dish scrubby cloth!

5 dish rags, and 6 dish towels. I know I have at least 2 more dish rags somewhere…. (Yep, went to the kitchen, for a peach drink, and found another one…)

Well, let me tell you!!
Norwex is microfiber, just like cheap ones, BUT so much better!
“The term microfiber technically applies to fiber that is 1.0 denier or smaller. The
smaller the denier measurement, the finer and more effective the microfiber. Superior microfiber measures 0.13 denier.”
And Standard Fiber
tells us that “In terms of fills, in order to be considered a “microfiber” the fiber must be less than 1 denier, which is extremely fine. This gives the fill its airy weight, downy feel, and soft, silky texture. In comparison, a human hair is 20 denier, whereas Standard Fiber’s microfibers are typically 0.9 denier or less.”
Norwex is 1/200 of the width of a human hair. That means it’s __.1_ denier. We are far superior to any other microfiber on the market!!
{I did that math all by myself!! Well, after I did it the first time, it didn’t look right, so I redid it, and that time it was right! Yes, DD1 checked my calculations!! 😉 }
So, since Norwex is such a finely textured thread, and woven so densely per inch, it picks up 99% of the bacteria, and germs on the surface! And yes, we are Government certified to say that!! And since it has BacLock, I can just use, rinse, wring, hang to dry, then reuse! They only need washing once a week!!
Not only does Norwex nix the germs, it nixes all other cloths, and paper towels too!!
Can you say savings??!!

Well last week, I proved (once again!) just how much.
For her birthday party, she requested strawberry cake, with pink icing, and a cherry on top.
So, I duly bought the mixes, ahem Who bought the mixes?? To be technical, I did. I just didn’t actually go to the store. (Oh, what would I ever do without XH, and Sweet Friend?? My whole matrix would collapse!)
Anyway, the ingredients were purchased, by whomever isn’t relevant.

and proceeded to bake! Yes, ME! Bake!
Not picture perfect, but made with love!!
When she got home from day care, I let her frost them, and put the “Cherries” on top.
Yes, we’re pretending those little dots are cherries!
[No way was I gonna spend all that money on a jar of maraschino cherries, when the kids would just probably spit them out!! I’m not Pinterest Omie, or anything!]
These are the survivors, from the party, that we had at a park. So all the clean up required was to throw the trash away!! No sweeping, mopping, nuttin!! No decorating either! Boy, weren’t we smart! {And broke, but that’s beside the point!}
Now, back to loving her so much. Did I ever mention I’m allergic to strawberries?? Along with the gluten, and blah, blah, blah?? I made cupcakes, that I couldn’t even eat!! That’s love, folks!

Okay now, on to the questions, please. Coming right up!
Um, let’s see….. 1. When the ending pages are torn out!!!! That makes me cry in anger, and frustration! 2. If the book is poorly edited. Once, the heroine’s name changed halfway thru. This really happened! I got all steamed up, ready to write a stern letter to the editor, then…… I read a different book, and my procrastination kicked in, and I never did it. 3. When the writer is boring. I still try to hang in there, but 3 times in my life, I’ve given up, and quit reading a book. It pains me, cuz I know it’s not the book’s fault! But, I do have standards, ya know!!
2. Describe your perfect reading spot.
Pretty much anywhere there’s a seat, light, me and a book!! Actually, I don’t even require a seat! I read while walking down the halls, at school! I’ve even read in the tub!!
3. Tell us Three book confessions.
I think saying I have put down 3 books, without finishing, probably counts as the first one! I’m ashamed of myself, that I couldn’t power thru! 2. I proofread, as I go. I hate it when books have too many mistakes. Fire your editor already!! 3. I binge read, when I find a new author I like. I will hunt down their next books, like they are food, and I’m starving!
4. When was the last time you cried during a book?
When did I finish reading the last book?? 2 days ago? Of course I cry when something sad happens! Those people are real!! DD1 does too. When either of us are crying, and we ask, “What’s wrong?” All the other has to do, is say “Reading, or book.” And we understand.
5. How many books are on your bedside table?
Here: I’ll show you.
Answer: 10. 2 Bibles, 2 Christian romances, a Strong Willed Child workbook, and 5 kids’ books.
6. What’s your favorite snack to eat while you’re reading?
Food, pretty much! Brownies top the list, naturally. And peach Fanta, if I have some.
7. Name Three books you would recommend to Everyone.
Bible- #1, hands down. Anne of Green Gables. {This is so hard!!} 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman.
8. Show us a picture of your favorite bookcase , or a bookshelf.
Well, since I moved, and got rid of all my bookcases, apparently my nightstand is it!
My nightstand is now my new bookshelf.
9. Describe how much books mean to you in just three words.
Oh, wow, another toughie. Let’s see if I can do this.
Giving me life. (The Bible literally gives me life, by bringing me to Jesus Christ. Other books give life to my mind.)
