Just in case you thought I made up another word:
a. The act of ejecting, forcing out, or supplanting. b. The state of being ejected, forced out, or supplanted. 2. One that ejects, forces out, or supplants another.
Annnnnd, just when you thought you’d never have to hear the word “Irma” again, here she is back for a fourth appearance. (Dare we hope fourth, and final appearance??)
Oops!! I forgot to show you the other day, the first, and most important inside prep I made for Irma!!

Had to save the ice cream from melting!!
That was job one!! (Apologies to Ford!)
Onto more serious things.
These were the outside ousters for Irma. Ya know, the stuff that might fly around and hit somebody in the head, and knock ’em out!!
Backyard stuff brought inside, away from Irma’s ire!
Front yard stuff brought into the porch, out of harm’s way.
Man, that trash bin was stinky!!
Our neighbor had a terrific idea!

- Can you see the sandbags on his doorstep??
His apt. is ground level, whereas ours is 3 steps up!!
XH went around and closed all the jalousie windows, on the porch, the laundry room, and the bathroom. A lot of the cranks were busted, so it had to be done from the outside. So it was a man job!
So, that’s about all I have to say about Irma. Hopefully since we’ve seen the backside of her, and know she can’t ever bother us again, I won’t need to mention her a fifth time, either!!
Oh, wait!! Here’s one effect from her, that I’m not sure what to do about.

What do I do with this mess??? Water bob is a big, blobbing bother now!
Do I try to dry it out somehow??? I hung it over the shower curtain for 3 days, not effective. And if I try to fold it up, and keep it, won’t it be mildewed next time I need it????
Okay, I think I have well and truly exhausted the topic of that wild, windy woman, you know who!
An Irma post brought to you by the letter “O” and ice cream.
