Approach with caution.     The first thing that happened:

slob, humor, crib innards

Crib guts.

The crib threw up.     I told SF I was decluttering, and to please come get it, since he bought it, and PPJr’s little tushy barely even touched the mattress!      In the whole 13 months of her life so far, probably less than 5 hours of it were ever spent in that crib!     And of course, for some crazy reason, he wanted it empty! The nerve!

Here he is, trundling it out the door.

slob, humor, crib deserter

I helped!!

(Well, not helping so much as holding it back so I can snap a pic!!)     When SF has a job to do, he gets it done pronto!    No time for this standing around, posing for pix!

So, I had to sort thru all that mess.     Then I decided to comb thru these shelves again.

slob, humor, attacking junk AGAIN

Lots of work to do yet.

Here are all the books I kept.

slob, humor, keep box

All I kept, of the books.

                                                                                                                 Remember this shot??

slob, humor, knowledge is power

Self explanatory

Yeah, and because I stupidly took a pic of the Men’s version, instead of women’s, (I just can’t keep a secret!) some people thought something was up!     Susie was right, there was something up.        XH and I started dating again in Jan.

slob, humor, dating again!

Happy Days are here again!

But, it didn’t work out, again.     We even went to counseling again, with a man this time!   I was still too bossy, and he felt I was pressuring him too much.       sigh         Curtis warned me decades ago, that I was too bossy!

Sooooo, all the re-marriage books back out the door.       Just gonna keep working on me, and enjoy my life, and my family, and get tons of sugars from my grandbabies!!       Best hugs, and kisses in the world!       BUT!!        Cry Baby Bear’s still here!!      I can’t let my first ever stuffie go!!      How would she survive this cruel world, without my tender loving care??

slob, humor, well loved Cry Baby Bear

I know, she doesn’t look well cared for, you might say. Well, I put those stitches there myself!! (the red ones)

Okay, back to the job at hand.      At this point, a different day, DD1 joined me.

I did de-clutter the box of candy!     Fine, I did eat 1 piece first.    That’s how I knew it HAD to be de-cluttered!!       Got rid of half the stuff in the big grey basket, that I was totally gonna spray paint…..      Then chucked the basket as well.      And tossed the craft kit, in the white box behind the light bulb.      I have such big ideas of ALL the crafts PP and I are gonna do!!!!!     And, I’m giving away the brown machine table.    My legs do NOT fit under it comfortably!!       I think I heard a rumor a while back, that I was too old to put up with torn, broken, uncomfortable stuff…..     Anybody else remember that??

The teal hamper is full of donate.     I even donated half of the material, in the 4 drawers of that dresser!!      SO hard to let go!!

Both white hampers full of donate!      Cleared off top of dresser.     Got rid of cloth book, cuz button tires were loose.     Why didn’t I just sew them tighter???       Ummm, do you remember one of my slob failings is also laziness???

slob, humor, pix pared down

This green tub of pix, was so jammed full, I couldn’t close it!

So, I pared the pix down.       (Down really does need to be a “P” word, doesn’t it??)

slob, humor, cut it out!!

Pared down with a pair of scissors.

For some reason, I’ve always been a vicious photo editor.       My Mama first saw me cutting up pix, when I was about 12, for an album I was making.   I truly thought she was gonna faint!      Apparently pix were sacrosanct!      How dare I mar their perfection by trimming them willy-nilly?!

And this time, I even threw away the duplicates, fuzzy, and faded beyond recognition ones too!!       Score!     I’d kept some of them over 40 years!      It’s hard to say goodbye!

slob, humor, box closes now

There now, it’s shut!

Pic of Joyous, my college BFF.     I love that girl!!      We are such good friends, we called each other Jonathan, and David!      And twins!!       From the first time our eyes connected, in Speech class, we knew what each other was thinking!!      It was wonderful!

And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
{Some people misuse this verse to support homosexuality.     No, it’s friendship love, not sexual. }
Anyhoo, it was a great stroll down memory lane, with the pix.
This was great fun!!     I bought this doll before Christmas, but with all the drama, my plan didn’t happen.       Michelle had a walking doll, just like this when she was about 7 or 8, named Rosemary.   [Which coincidentally, is our present stepmother’s name!]    She hated it!      It was so big, and Mama stood it up, in the corner of our room!      None of us realized she was terrified of it!!

So, I texted this pic to her yesterday:

slob, humor, doll trick

Hello, old friend!

Followed by this one:                              slob, humor, doll taunt

Making sure the eyes were wide open!         Bwahahahaha!        She texted back that it was funny, so I hope she didn’t have nightmares!

Alrightey, I gotta stop having so much fun, and purge already!!

I donated the doll, too.  The joke was totally worth the $6 I paid for her!!      At least to me!        Michelle might have a different opinion!

Sadly, I didn’t take pix of this donate haul.      Trust me, it was a big one!!

Feeelz so good to unload so much stuff!!

Previous House Time: 17 hrs 28 min

Today’s Time: 2 hours for me, 1 hour for DD1, and should I count the 10 min for SF taking the crib??    He did have to fold it up, and roll it ALL the way down the hall!!     Of course I should!!        Total Today’s Time: 3 hrs 10 min

Total House Time to Date: 20 hrs 38 min

Poor, poor Ashley!      Nobody tell her about this, ok??     It’ll be our little secret!       I can trust y’all not to blab, can’t I??

WOW! Willow!

WOW!!   Just wow!   Willow re-blogged me again!!    AND, she said I was funny!!!!  https://willowscottling.wordpress.com/2016/06/22/willow-wonders-witnessed/

She and I have formed our own private circle of love!   This is how my BBFFJ and I became BBFFs, by re-blogging each other, and featuring each other.   Bloggy friends are so supportive!    I’m so glad I found my niche, here on the blogosphere!!

Now, I have my BBFFJ, {I’ve mentioned Janice so many times lately, I think I’m gonna start charging her per!    NOT!!    It just means I have more cred in my BBFFJ account!}my college BFF Joyous, my Ethel BFF (Claremary), and now I am adding Willow.    What will her BFF name be??    BBFFW??    Best Blogging Friend Forever Willow.    That sounds about right!!

WAIT!!    You can’t have 2 best blogging friends!

Why not??    Who made up the rule that you can only have 1 best friend anyways??

Umm, well, not me, but it just can’t be!!

Ok, well, then Willow will be my 2nd best blogging friend forever.

NO!!  NO!!    What are we, in KG???

Well, if you will remember, I did teach Kg for several years….

slob, humor, Kindergarten

Fun, fun, fun ALL the day long! (NOT!!)

{groan}

Fine.    May I call Willow my BFFW??   Pretty please, with a cherry on top?

Let me mull it over….

I’ve made my decision.     Willow will now, and forever more be called your Blogging Friend Forever Willow, BFFW for short.

Thank you.

Ok Willow, I got it figgered out!!    You can come over and play now!   I got the blankie fort all ready!   I ‘membered how you like tiny spaces!!

slob, humor, blanket fort

Just enough room for my BFFW, and me!

Willow Wonders

My friend, Momma, posted  “Willows-got-questions.”    When I commented on it, she challenged me to answer them too.

So, here goes.   Willow wonders:

1.Does jet-lag affect you?

BIG time!!   Usually I recover by the 3rd day.   Hopefully, I didn’t have to leave on the 2nd day!

2.Are you afraid to walk alone at night?

Nope!   Never have been!    By myself, that is!   I would not be so brave, if I had to take my grand kids with me!

3.How did it make you feel the first time you ever held a baby in your arms — yours or someone else’s?

At almost 3, I picked up my newborn brother, walked across the room, and sat down in my little rocking chair.   My heart nearly burst with love for him.   And awe that he was real, not just a doll!

4.Do you fold your undergarments and socks?

Mercy, NO!!   The only time my undies have been folded, (since I left my Mama’s house) is when DD1 “kon-maried” me.

slob, humor, kon maried undies

Kon-maried!!

I was paying her to fold my clothes, and put them away, so of course she took the L O N G way home!

5.Is there a specific place where you go to think? where is it and why there?

Not on purpose, but apparently it’s bed.   When I’m trying to go to sleep, I always think of great blog posts, clever retorts to conversations days ago….

6.How many houseplants do you have? How are they faring?

Um, I’m on the National “Do NOT Let Her Have Houseplants” List, so I have none.    And believe me, they’re ALL much better off!

7.Do you have a garden — flower or vegetable?

Yes!  I’m allowed to have outside plants, per my probation.    And since God waters them, I’m happy to say I haven’t killed a one!  Yet!    (Although, the Jasmine’s neck is on the chopping block…)

slob, humor, purple flower

Purple Flower

8.How many hats do you own? Do you wear them all?

Virtual??  Or physical??

Physical hats, I have 1 purple knitted winter hat.  Sure!   I wear it during the 8.7 hours of winter here!   (when I can find it, that is.)

9.Does your best friend call you their best friend?

Depends on which best friend you mean??   My Blogging Best Friend Forever Janice, Better known as BBFFJ, certainly calls me her BBFF, too.

slob, humor, Janice Wald

My BBFFJ, AKA Janice Wald  from www.mostlyblogging.com

My BF from college, we still call each other “twin”.   Much closer even than BF!

slob, humor, best friends

My college BFF, Joyous and our kids

But I don’t have a dog.

10.Do you struggle to finish a bad book or do you set it aside forever?

I have struggled thru a few.  And once or twice, I have even *gasp* set them aside forever.   But, they have to be REALLY horrible before I would go to such an extreme measure with a book!

11.Have you ever been in a food fight?

AS in, who gets the last piece of chicken??   Many times!!

12.Have you ever brought a stray animal home?

Do boyfriends count??   Lol   No, I hated animals, until I fell in love with my Emily, when I was in my 30s.    She was a tiny 8 week old Cock-apoo.

13.Can a well-written book make you care about their characters enough to cry for them?

Of course!   They’re real people too!

14.How do you deliver bad news?

From behind a catcher’s mask!    Just kidding.   I had to tell my 2 nieces their dad died, and I just hugged them tight, and gently said it.   Then kept hugging them, as long as they wanted to be held.

15.In general, how do you feel when you come home from a long vacation?

So thrilled to be home, I say “I’m never leaving home again!”   Then, I go jump in bed, because I’m so tired.

Willow has many, MANY more questions!    (40 more, to be precise)    But, I think this is enough for today!

Thanks, Momma and Willow!
