Authorized Artwork

In my house, there is authorized artwork, and unauthorized artwork. With a 3 yo, and a 1 yr, I’m sure you can imagine. But since you know me, you know you don’t have to.  I will show and tell!

Authorized:

“Self Portrait” by PP Her Pink Phase

Unauthorized:

More bed sheet graffiti.           (Why does my camera make stuff different colors??      It’s all the same beigish/pale yella sheet!!)   smh

Authorized:

       “My big hand”                                               Unnamed

UnAuthorized Artwork:

PP does love her markers!      Apparently the cabinets were just too plain                            for her sensibilities!

And so on, and so on.

So  far, the only unauthorized artwork that PPJr has participated in is: eating the crayons!        Sorry, no pix of that, due to the no pix rule.       But she did make some marks on a paper!     And I immediately sent it to Grandmama as a love letter!      (while forgetting to document it for y’all.      My apologies!)

Hopefully soon PP will be broken of the unauthorized artwork habit, and PPJr won’t pick it up!       I sure hope so!

  1. One Christmas Eve when my older son was about 20 months old he created an unauthorized wreath on the wall by the front door. Guests were due in about 20 minutes. I took a picture then made him help me clean it up. To this day that picture is one of my favorites!

  2. My second child was my wall artist. Definitely unauthorized! My fourth child was my carver. He carved his first name into nearly every piece of furniture at one time (and the banister). So unauthorized! 😅

  3. This post reminds me of the time my best friend told me how she heard her daughter humming in her bedroom one day. When my friend went in to see what she was doing, her daughter was just drawing, right on the back side of her bedroom door, as she was humming to herself, as if there was nothing wrong at all. Too funny.

Love them spoons. Would make any meal be fun-tastic to eat with!

  4. Awwww, such cute little PP and so glad PPJr is doing better since he’s too little. The bedsheets, dresser and real paper art are all funny! You’re a great person, nice Grandma. I’m a Nana. 🙂
