I miss her. She was tiny, but gave great hugs!! And love radiated out from her.
She’s been up in heaven for 12 years now. I know she greeted Jeffery with a big ole hug, when he got there!! (And maybe even a pot of dumplings, and some nanner pudding??)
Today is exactly 2 years since my BIL, Jeffery went home to the Lord.
So many changes. So much suffering, and grieving for him. He can’t ever be replaced.
Yes, life has gone on, but hearts are still broken, lives still shattered. Pieces still being picked up.
He hasn’t shed any tears. We’ve shed oceans full.
He is still dancing, and rejoicing in the presence of Jesus. We are still going on with life, missing him, looking forward to the day we get to go up to heaven to join him.
We watch, and wait for the day of the Return of Jesus, in the clouds!!
Bwahahaha!!
At first, I titled this : Animal Amusements”, and wrote
“Mea culpa! Mea culpa!
Please forgive me! I’ll try harder next time!”
But, I took one several more seconds to brainstorm, and voila!

I feel such a sense of accomplishment today!! I was about to say “It’s not even noon yet, and already I’ve.” Then I made the mistake of glancing at the clock. It’s 12:49 pm. But, I decided that my sense of accomplishment is not dictated by the minute hand on the clock.
I have accomplished a lot already today!! I woke up!! In a good mood! Feeling rested!! Read my Bible!

Ate a healthy breakfast of oatmeal!
Why would I show you an empty bowl?? Cuz I told ya, I ate it already!
{Guess I should dispense with the exclamations marks now! Oops, sorry, last one, okay?} Wrote in my diary. Washed the dishes, ALL of them. Found my stamps,
after just texting someone to borrow 3. Picked up the 3 baby bibs outta the floor, that had fallen off the shelf, and put in a bag to donate. (PPJr couldn’t even wear new born stuff the day she was born. Who decides how big a baby’s neck should be anyway???)
Cleaned off the side kitchen counter [-ish]. I put away the gaggle of plastic bags there, and removed the 2 shopping bags, and hung them on the dining room chair.
What?? For now, that’s where they go, since they don’t have an assigned home yet.
Drank 2 glasses of water, refilled the pitcher,
answered all my emails. Commented on the 3 blogs that popped up. Talked to my Mama, and DD1. Ate 3 ice cream bars. Well, that one right there probably shouldn’t count as an accomplishment…
My friend, Elizabeth, from the Comfortable Coop, also wrote a wonderful Resurrection Sunday post, just like Cami’s, that I re-blogged yesterday.

It reminded me once again, to give first place to Jesus, my Savior, always!! Resurrection Sunday, (Easter), is to celebrate His resurrection from the dead!! He gave His life on the cross, for our salvation, just because He loves us!! Praise the Lord forever!
God’s not dead, He is alive!!

I have a whole 3 day weekend off! SIL took the girls to see his mamma. Whew!! I’m giddy with delight!! Whatever will I do??!!
Slept late, yay! Showered, yay again! Went to free lunch to hear Michelle speak on Tamar. (She acts out skits on women in the Bible. Tamar’s story is found in Genesis 38, verses 6-30.) She did an excellent job, as always!!
Went to Mama’s for a pork chop, (the free lunch was about worth what we paid today. VERY skimpy!! ) and some blackberry cobbler. (and swiped the remainder of it!! I didn’t want it to go to waste. I was being considerate!)
Stopped by a realtors. 
Talked about my pitiful situation. I had already been in contact with a mortgage broker. My credit is finally hi enough to qualify for a mortgage!! My income qualifies me for $25,000!! Hurray! I can have my choice of imaginary, burned out, 1/1 houses on 5’x5′ lots!! Woo hoo! But only in black! (Henry Ford reference.)
Oh, I forgot that I hadn’t even told you I wanted to move! I know, I know! I just moved a year ago! (13 months to be exact. There’s that pesky math again!) I’m longing to be back home in Plant City again. Being so close, and yet so far, for the last 3 years, I feel kinda like I’m in exile!
Got home at 4, and started the “C” word! COOKING??? Yes, I said Cooking! Pick yoreself up off the floor, woman!
Aunt “Nameless” gave me a yummy recipe that only takes 3 hours on hi, in the crock pot. So, I’ll be noshing at midnight. LOL Uh, Melinda? Yeah? 4 + 3= 7, not midnight! It doesn’t?? (shakes head no) Oh well, it took me 45 minutes to get the food INTO the pot! So, I just kinda rounded up!
I do have to remember that math is not your forte!!

I’m also re-de-cluttering. I’ve got to rid of so much stuff!! Ok, well, time to quit yakking, and go work!
Aww, who am I kiddin?? I cooked! And that’s all the work I’m gonna do today!
