Paper Purgathon

Queen Anne has once more declared a De-clutterathon!     Except, this time it’s a Paper Purgathon!

slob, humor, herald trumpet

“Hear ye, hear ye!     Her Royal Majesty, Queen Anne of Minimalia, hath declared a Paper Purgathon thru out the land.       Thou must gathereth together all pieces of paper in thine house, and purge them ruthlessly. Keepeth thou None of them!

 (Well, not very many, anyway.)

Queen Anne waiteth patiently for thine accounting.”

I’ll be chiming in with my 2 cents worth!!

Wanna join us?  Even if you don’t blog, join the party!      Purge with us!        Paper- be gone!

Queen Anne’s Fellow Sovereigns:

– Melinda, at PurpleSlobinRecovery, is joining with about 15 minutes a day.
– Viv, at GriefHappens, said she needed to be on this “like an over-sugared kid in a bouncy house”, and is joining with 30 minutes a day.🙂
– Jena, at All Round Better me,  is in for 60 minutes a week.
– Amy, at More time than money, also joining with 60 minutes a week.
– Grace, at The CFO MOM Blog, just told me she is joining, woohoo!

Sitting on the fence;
– Gilly, at Anything Except Housework is waiting to see if we survive it all.😉
– Jen, at The Hidden Hoarder, is hard at work on her front porch, and hasn’t quuuuite decided yet.😉

  1. Good luck to everyone with the paper purgathon! I am no longer fence sitting – I am elder sitting for my 90 year old dad while ma is in hospital. Not around much Melinda – please forgive me if I miss updates, am snatching time online very sporadically. Hoping things will get easier now that ma has had her hip op and the drama of preparing for it has passed. Now, get on with that purge!

    • I knew it was coming up. I’ve been praying a lot for your mom, and her surgery. Please keep me updated on she’s doing, when you can! And, how you and your sis are doing, as sitters! I’ll be getting down to business shortly, for another furious bout of shredding- hopefully! lol

      • Thank you – yes, mum is making very good progress. My dad became ill with the stress and it has been very difficult – just like being a mum again, rushed off my feet, eating breakfast at about 11.30 while trying to juggle laundry and dishing out millions of pills on time. I have lost count of how many times my rear almost touches the sofa but then someone wants something. Great for my thighs though – like doing squats! Last night, it was 11.30 before I was finished my ‘duties’ and I was too tired to get myself up the stairs to bed! But help is on the way and I can have a few days off. I am going to sleep!!!!!! Thank you for caring guys. xxx

      • That’s great to hear, Gilly that you’re Mum’s doing well. I wondered if your dad would get sick too. 😦
Well, at least you’re getting exercise! 😉
Yay, for rest! You’re so welcome, that’s what friends are for!
